The NFCC Senior Center
The North/South Fairmount Senior Center provides an opportunity for friendship, recreation, wellness, and education, which enable Senior Citizens to maintain an active quality of life. Through programming and services, we promote wellness within our community. We foster a sense of independence and self-worth. We enhance the quality of life for all and promote a positive image of aging. We offer a chance for socialization, to help older adults engage and stay connected. The Senior Center is located in the St. Francis Court Apartment Building at 1860 Queen City Avenue. The Center is open to all residents of the St. Francis Court Apartments and also to members of the community who are aged 62 and older.
The NFCC Senior Center Meals
The NFCC Senior Center has partnered with the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio in a program funded in part by the Ohio Department of Aging to provide congregate hot meals. The Center is opened Monday through Friday, 8 am-1 pm, and offers hot meals from 10:30 am-12:00 pm. Once lunch is served, some stay to play cards while others do word search puzzles. Most seniors prefer to just congregate and have somewhere to go.
