Comprehensive Support Services
Housing Stability. Family Support. Stronger Communities.
Since 1980, the North Fairmount Community Center has been committed to helping individuals and families achieve long-term stability. That work continues today because of everyone who chooses to stand behind it. Because of that support, families facing a shutoff notice, an unexpected repair, or the fear of losing their home have somewhere to turn. NFCC offers comprehensive support services through its dedicated Social Worker. Whether you’re facing a personal crisis or simply need guidance, NFCC is here to help you navigate challenges and access the resources you deserve.
Through the Secured Start Housing Initiative, NFCC helps the residents of North Fairmount remain stably and affordably housed. NFCC owns and manages affordable rental units, from efficiency apartments to multi-bedroom houses, and pairs them with a social worker who serves as the first point of contact for housing and stability needs. Rather than a one-time payment, this program pairs emergency financial assistance with case management and referral services, so households get the full range of support they qualify for and are less likely to face a repeat crisis.
NFCC’s Social Worker provides free, personalized support to individuals and families facing housing instability, financial hardship, and other life challenges. Whether you need immediate assistance or ongoing case management, NFCC is here to help.

NFCC also connects residents to neighborhood resources through the North Fairmount Community Council and the Villages at Roll Hill Community Center, so support doesn’t stop at our door.
Supporting Families Where They Are
North Fairmount serves a community where many families face financial challenges. Its programs primarily assist low-to-moderate-income households, including families transitioning from homelessness, seniors living on fixed incomes, and working parents striving to maintain stable housing.
The goal is to provide a holistic, supportive network that empowers neighbors to overcome obstacles and build a stronger future. Based on internal case data, 83% of households assisted in 2025 had their situation fully or substantially resolved by case close, and NFCC is working to sustain that rate in 2026. None of this would be possible without the people who support this program, and on behalf of the families NFCC serves, thank you.
NFCC’s Commitment
The Social Worker works one-on-one with each household. Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Through comprehensive case management, housing support, emergency assistance, and community partnerships, NFCC is committed to helping individuals and families overcome obstacles, maintain stable housing, and build a brighter future.
