A New Program Dedicated to Those Who Served

North Fairmount Community Center is proud to announce the upcoming launch of our Veterans Outreach & Support Program, a new initiative designed to connect local veterans with resources, support, and opportunities that promote stability, independence, and well-being.

We recognize the sacrifices made by our nation’s veterans and understand that navigating available services can often be challenging. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where veterans can find guidance, support, and connections to the resources they have earned through their service.

The program will focus on helping veterans access community resources related to:

• Veterans benefits
• Employment and job training
• Education opportunities
• Housing and homelessness prevention
• Food assistance
• Legal resources
• Mental health support
• Utility, rent, and mortgage assistance
• Identification and documentation services
• Computer and internet access
• And much more

In addition to resource navigation, the program will provide opportunities for veterans to connect with one another, build community relationships, and strengthen their support networks.

We are excited to bring this much-needed program to North Fairmount and the surrounding communities and look forward to serving those who have served our country.
